Throughlines: Scott Snibbe

1. How can one use new media to create
an artwork which calls for people to
interact with it?

2. What types of elements (form, gesture)
will be necessary to capture the
essence of someone while they interact
with the piece?

3. How will I be able to notice if
interacting people understand the aim
of the artwork?

Your Throughlines are very close to walking that fine line between referencing the work and addressing the 'big ideas'. For instance, I would edit question two to be: What are ways to visually capture the essence of a person using new media? The use of formal elements muddies the core of your question. Question three could be: As an artist, how can I tell if viewers who interact with my art understand it? Pretty close to what you've got (now that I look at both). You're definitely on the right track.
